I just finished teaching through Galatians (an eight month project) and we will be focusing on the Advent for the next few weeks.
I am planning on going over a handful of Old Testament texts dealing with the incarnation this Sunday and have spent today preparing.
As I looked online for some references to prophecy concerning Christ's first coming, I was blambasted with crazy end-times sites.
I swear, the amount of these types of sites and their web design is unbelievable. It is as if every guy who has a eschatological axe to grind has absolutely no idea of what readable text looks like. Most color schemes are red, black, and yellow. Yikes.
Here was a good one: Satansrapture.com, not only is there a countdown clock until Jesus comes back, but there is a burnable Santa doll you can order to burn and start a new tradition! Awesome.

owwwwww. my eyes are bleeding now.
Hi Jake! I wanted to tell you about a good resource for Scripture texts telling of the coming of the Messiah. Handel's "Messiah" was written using only Scripture, and the first section deals with many prophecies. Here is a website that I found that has the references written out: http://www.worshipmap.com/lyrics/messiahtext.html
If you ever have the opportunity to listen to it, too, the music is truly amazing.
God bless you as you prepare!
